Feature: The watches of The White Lotus
The White Lotus is a black-comedy drama that explores the lives and antics of a handful of guests staying at an international chain of luxury hotels of the same name. In series one, our holidayers head to tropical Hawaii, whereas in the second series a new batch of jetsetters visit Sicily for a European getaway. By the third instalment—released in 2025—our holidaymakers get to experience colourful Thailand.
It soon becomes clear that the White Lotus hotels attract a specific clientele, we’re talking successful individuals with deep pockets. And with this kind of money comes some impressive watches, of course. So, let’s get into some of our favourite timepieces worn by the array of characters in all three seasons of this hit show.
Tanya McQuoid wore: Ebel
Fan favourite, Tanya McQuoid (played by Jennifer Coolidge) and her husband, Greg, are the only characters from the first series to star in the second. Coolidge went on to win multiple awards for her portrayal of the flamboyant Tanya in both seasons, in what was a standout performance.

Throughout Tanya’s stays at the luxury hotels, first in Hawaii and then in Italy, she gets herself into amusing and sometimes concerning situations with other characters who are clearly attracted to her for her wealth and ditsy nature. That said, she seems to have her head screwed on when it comes to her watches. In series two, she appears to be wearing what we think is a humble Ebel 1911 in yellow gold and steel. Being the glamour puss she is, this isn’t what we’d expect Tanya to wear but we’re impressed with her understated timepiece, one that doesn’t seek approval.
Cameron Sullivan wore: Rolex
Cameron (Theo James) appears to be the ringleader of the group he’s holidaying with, consisting of his wife, Daphne, his friend Ethan and his wife, Harper. Confident and egotistical, he’s a calculated individual who knows what he wants and how to get it.
The Submariner "Smurf" in 18k white gold is a highly desirable Rolex model
Someone with this kind of attitude needs a watch to match and Cameron’s doesn’t disappoint. He wears a highly sought-after Rolex Submariner “Smurf”—so-called thanks to its combination of blue dial and bezel. With its 18k white gold case and bracelet, it isn’t as resilient in water as your traditional steel Sub, but it is a looker! As much as we’re averse to Cameron’s holiday antics, we are a big fan of his watch.
Dominic di Grasso wore: Panerai
The di Grasso family—consisting of grandfather, Bert, his son, Dominic (played by Michael Imperioli) and grandson Albie—travelled to Italy to reconnect with their Sicilian heritage, to no avail. It seems the closest they got to any real connection to their Italian roots is through the macho Panerai Submersible worn by troubled sex addict, Dominic.
Even though its watches are now made in Switzerland, Panerai's roots remain in Italy
Now made in Switzerland, Panerai has Italian origins making this the perfect match for a di Grasso. Dom’s 44mm Submersible Goldtech is a striking model in black and yellow gold with a casual black rubber strap—ideal for relaxing by the pool.
Quentin wore: Rolex
Quentin (Tom Hollander) is the only character on this list who isn’t a guest at the White Lotus hotel. Instead, he’s based in Palermo at an elaborate villa—which he claims he inherited from his grandfather—where he lives the high life. We first meet Quentin when he befriends Tanya and begins inviting her out with him and his friends. At this point in the series, we’re as oblivious to Quentin’s ill intentions as Tanya.
This understated Rolex allows Quentin to go under the radar
His unassuming Rolex Datejust, then, makes the ideal match for this cunning character. In steel with a smooth bezel and white dial it’s the perfect piece to fit in with the crowd—thanks to the Rolex nametag—without being overly flashy and drawing too much attention.
Ethan Spiller wore: TAG Heuer
The nerdy Ethan Spiller (Will Sharpe) appears in the second series, visiting Sicily with his wife, Harper, and his university friend, Cameron and his wife, Daphne. From the get-go it’s clear that there’s some friction between the two couples, due to differences in political views and attitudes. There’s a clear division in the kind of watches worn by the unlikely pals, too.
The TAG Heuer Connected is the ideal watch for someone in tech. Ethan wears one similar to this model
Ethan has opted for a TAG Heuer Connected, the first smart watch from a luxury Swiss watch brand and the perfect fit for a tech entrepreneur. Perhaps a bit more time spent with the arrogant Cameron and his Rolex Submariner will convince Ethan to upgrade his TAG to something flashier…
Timothy and Victoria Ratliff wore: Rolex
Two standout performances from the third series—set in Thailand—come from Jason Isaacs’ portrayal of the troubled Timothy Ratliff and Parker Posey as his high-maintenance wife, Victoria. The latter is so accustomed to the finer things that she admits she’d rather die than miss out on a life of luxury. A comment that makes her financier husband consider putting her out of her impending misery, as it becomes clear he’s about to lose everything after an FBI investigation into his illicit business deeds.
Lover of the finer things in life, Victoria wears her all-yellow-gold Day-Date throughout the series. Image: HBO
The couple opted for the same Rolex model, the Day-Date—the ultimate symbol of wealth and power, something the pair will certainly enjoy flaunting. Victoria wore a luxurious all-yellow-gold model with diamond indices, while Timothy opted for a yellow-gold version with a black lacquer dial—the ideal colour to portray a man at a seriously low ebb as a result of his dodgy decisions.

Rick Hatchett wore: Timex
When we first meet Rick (played by Walton Goggins), he looks as though he’s been dragged on holiday by his much younger girlfriend, Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood). We soon find out he has his own vengeful agenda while in Thailand.
Rick’s Timex is an affordable alternative to the Rolex GMT-Master “Sprite”
With that said, it makes sense for Rick to have a GMT watch with a classic dual-colour bezel to reflect his split personality. Considering Rick is a stylish man, with his slick-back hair and quiet, brooding allure, you’d probably expect him to wear something a little flashier than a Timex, but he wears exactly that—a Timex Q GMT. With its black and green bezel, Rick’s model is reminiscent of Rolex’s sought-after GMT-Master “Sprite”.
Saxon Ratliff wore: Hublot and Rolex
First impressions of the eldest child in the Ratliff family, Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger), is that he’s a confident young man—so much so, he’s rather unlikeable. This is true for a lot of the series until after a shocking intoxicated encounter with his younger brother, Lochlan.
Saxon’s Big Bang is the ideal match for his confident persona at the start of the series. Image: HBO
Saxon can be spotted wearing a few watches throughout the series from a suitably brash black Hublot Big Bang with a silver skeleton dial to a Rolex model that’ll certainly get the nod of approval from watch enthusiasts, the understated Milgauss.
As a certified gym bro, a smart watch like Saxon’s Apple watch is an essential bit of kit. This enables him to track his progress and health statistics, as well as any all-important work emails—there’s no rest for the wicked, after all.
Laurie Duffy wore: Cartier
A trendy, elegant timepiece like this is a great fit for Laurie. Image: HBO
New Yorker, Laurie (played by Carrie Coon), visits the White Lotus for a girls’ trip with some “longtime” friends—famous actress Jaclyn (Michelle Monaghan) and devout Christian and Trump supporter, Kate (Leslie Bibb). However, it soon becomes apparent that there’s an underlying rift in the group as Laurie appears to struggle with some anxiety around her life achievements compared to her pals’. That said, she’s still the most free-spirited out of the three. Laurie’s watch of choice is the dainty Cartier Baignoire mini in yellow gold on a black leather strap—the ultimate trend piece, ideal for a mature cosmopolitan lady.
Lochlan Ratliff wore: Omega x Swatch
Lochlan’s bio-ceramic MoonSwatch is a far cry from his parents’ gold Rolexes. Image: HBO
The youngest Ratliff, Lochlan (played by Sam Nivola), has a timepiece that’s in stark contrast to the rest of his family. He can be seen wearing an affordable watch that costs under £300, but this isn’t just any timepiece, it’s an uber-cool and sought-after Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch “Mission to Saturn”—a choice that’s certainly approved by watch nerds worldwide. This model boasts a mature brown and beige colourway with a subdial resembling Saturn at 6 o’clock. Featuring a case made of bio-ceramic and a Velcro strap, it’s a far cry from his parents’ 18k gold Day-Dates.
Jaclyn Lemon wore: Hermes
Jaclyn’s discreet Hermes Nantucket could easily be mistaken for a bracelet. Image: HBO
As a famous actress, Jaclyn boasts what Gen Z like to call “main character energy”, a phrase used to describe people who believe the world revolves around them. Her watch of choice, then, isn’t as flashy and “look at me” as you may expect. Instead, Jaclyn has opted for a stylish and dainty rose-gold Hermes Nantucket. This is a watch that could easily be mistaken for a bracelet, with its elegant chain-effect links and discreet dial.
Sritala Hollinger wore: Jacob & Co.
This is by far the most expensive and extravagant watch from the series, and an ideal match for Sritala
Jacob & Co.’s extravagant Fleurs de Jardin is the perfect match for this successful actress-turned-hotel-owner. The first time we meet Sritala (Lek Patravadi) is when she welcomes her latest batch of guests to the White Lotus, and we’re sure she made as strong an impression on them as she did on us. Dressed to the nines, this glamour puss boasts a truly stunning rose-gold Jacob & Co. described as a “wrist-sized garden”, decorated with pink sapphires.
